I literally study and create large language models, sit your ass down. using llms to supplement your own cognitive workload is documented to have a negative impact on cognitive capabilities. there are absolutely uses for large language models, but using them as glorified search engines actively contributes to the worsening of your cognitive capabilities. (or did you miss the “and this is coming from a comp sci major” part of my post)
