CIA Director David Petraeus shared defense information with his biographer and received two years probation and a $100 thousand fine. They want to give Bolton a $2.5 million fine AND prison time (insisting on pursuing 5 years max) when he’s 77. Weaponized lawfare at its finest. Wasn’t smart on his part to publish the book when Trump was president, but this is as anti-free speech as it gets.
