majority of Republicans don’t try to force Christianity on others. and to your other comment, the crusades happened hundreds of years ago, while most Muslim states are still persecuting (to say the least) non-Muslims.

Read 4:90 (addresses hypocrites), 9:4 (addresses those who break treaties during wartime), 2:190 and 2:192 (literally about self defense in wartime and saying not to kill those who surrender), 8:12 was literally revealed during battle where they were outnumbered 300 to 1000, 47:4 is again talking about wartime and instructing not to take captives until the fighting is over I swear yall are allergic to Google and literally reading context

Fundamentalist Islam is bad too. But this is because conservative religion is bad. To the extent that Christianity could be said to be more accepting than Islam on average is simply because it is on average less conservative in the 21st century. Conservative Christianity is still awful. It is conservative religion that’s the problem. This is the error of these fuckwads trying to pretend progressive Muslims are bad just because they’re Muslim. Meanwhile, Pete Hegseth is in office.
