It was more technically 5-4 than 6-3, Kavanaugh ruled on the basis of a congressional statute not the 14th amendment. Four out of nine justices do not see the 14th Amendment as creating birthright citizenship.

Partisanship is a cancer. Vance literally just said that SCOTUS’s decision on birthright citizenship can change with future justice vacancies. It’s fucking terrifying, these corrupt justices will do anything as long as they remain in power
