i think hormone therapy for underage (maybe youngest being 15) should require parental consent, a letter of evaluation from a psychologist who specializes in gender and sexuality, and an informative course on the risks and affects. after 18 for hormones, people should be able to do what they want. and for surgery i think again people should be able to do what they want. but hormones should be recommended beforehand if they weren’t already in use and are safe for the individual

and also ofc make sure the individual is properly informed of the risks and affects. and i realized i missed this, but for surgery for people 15-18. i think basically the same guidelines as what i said before. like parental consent, letter of evaluation, and informative course, along with the recommendation of trying out hormones beforehand if not already in use and safe for the individual. but also I am open to critique on any of these takes from the trans community. I think this is something—

that should be decided based on the facts and opinions and experiences of the trans community, doctors, and psychologists who specialize in gender and identity. because they know more than me. and i’m not afraid to admit that
