It’s still a good program overall and as an Eagle Scout I think it’s great that it’s available to everyone now not just boys

Oh it is. Which is precisely why this isn’t gonna impact anything. The BSA is desperate for cash, they aren’t going to give rid of the girl troops in exchange for military hangouts. They need as many troops as they can get.
