Trust me, ik. I just find it really ignorant when ppl try to claim racism doesn’t exist anymore because “we ended segregation” and “we had a black president”

Yeah I want to be positive but the grand scheme looks bad. Individual people I meet make me have hope for humanity and sometimes makes the country’s outlook a little brighter but idk

All my years of living in Louisiana and going to Mardi Gras parades I’ve never seen anyone put beads around the necks of toys to throw to kids…
