the biggest revolution enthusiasts are cishet white people who grew up in an upper-middle to upper class family in the suburbs and never really did anything uncomfortable or had to face any real adversity and just followed a preset life trajectory to living in gentrified areas of big cities theyve almost never seen violence or anything. never been in a fight. theyd also be the last person to join the fight, since they expect it to be started and 90% done for them like all else in their life

Every single one I come across is plus they’re rich or come from a comfortable background where their lives are largely insulated from policy, and the state their from isn’t ran by nutjobs so, to them, after every election, it feels as if voting does nothing, though obviously voting does something to other people in their states if they’re lives are actually impacted by policies. These leftists are just this meme

I do not like the Democratic Party. I think they are weak, I think they are unwilling to meet the moment, I think they are terrible at their jobs. And I still vote for them, not because I want Democrats to win, but because I want Republicans to LOSE.
