Maybe this is a hot take but I agree with everything but the point abt women being groomed to make porn. Obviously the traditional porn industry struggles with curbing rampant abuse but for people creating content by themselves I don’t think they were groomed at all. I think they can earn money doing that and some men are just grumpy about it

i agree it’s less grooming and more so that given the economic state of the country (and the workings of capitalism) there’s an explicit incentive to commodify oneself and one’s body (hell look at influencers, OF is just the next step down that path)

Not full porn per se but definitely soft core and the promotion of oversexualization that’s being pushed towards middle and high school girls to create “softcore” sexualized content before they turn 18 and then end up selling nudes and tapes after they turn 18. That’s very much grooming. This “Bop culture” is a real thing and it’s much bigger than you think with a VERY large consumer base of incels and creepy older men that influence and have motive to spread it.

TikTok and instagram are the biggest platforms where grooming begins. Telegram and X are where it ends. The groomers aren’t making content to attract but they are influencing impressionable young girls further down the pipeline using likes and comments to steer the types of posts a young girl makes in a certain direction. A lot of teenagers are impressionable and many like the attention they get. They only realize it was grooming and regret it years later once their brains have matured.

It genuinely is a very big market and there are hundreds of accounts on ig and TikTok of high school age girls putting out seductive content with tens of thousands of followers and comments from older men to teenage boys encouraging and affirming it. Things like “can’t wait til you start selling” are very common comments to see. If you make a new account and start liking thirst traps eventually the algo will start showing thirst traps of younger and younger girls. The creepy men jump at that.

There is very much a mass grooming going on of girls in this country and that pipeline eventually ends with the girls enduring trauma upon realization that she was groomed. With the creepy men and incels being the victors after having exploited these women for just some cash
