Bro do they know anything about Russian OR Jewish history? Russia was the fucking epicenter of antisemitism for decades, the Soviet Union was a massive improvement. Like they could get educated and had freedom of movement that’s such an improvement over the Tsardom even with the Soviet anti-religious and assimilationist policies.

I’m not saying the Soviet Union didn’t have antisemitism but this is in comparison to fucking *Tsarist Russia,* which is where a bunch of the antisemitic rhetoric the Nazis used originated from.
