You’re being dishonest by acting like Kirk was on the same level as just someone who “said racist things” or like we put him on the same level of Hitler. I know you’re being dishonest, you know you’re being dishonest. Why the pretense? Why can’t you just say whatever you actually believe instead?

He had a family’” is directly analogous to the language the right uses to criticize left-wing responses to Charlie Kirk’s death. OOP thus equates the two by saying the responses to the deaths of Hitler and a Kirk-esque figure would be the same.

I am saying that, while the responses for Kirk would make more sense as he did not order the genocide of 6 million Jews, it is delusional to claim that such would be the same response on a large scale for Hitler.

I understood your post just fine, there’s no need to explain it. It’s still my position that you’re not being honest if you say most of the right would react differently to Hitler’s assassination if he were operating today; and if some part of you actually believes that, then I don’t think you’re being honest with yourself either.
