A 2022 estimate says there are probably 11M undocumented immigrants living in the US, but only a fifth (so 2.2M) came after 2010

There’s nothing wrong with them being here, I just don’t get why it’s such taboo for them to enter the country the right way and not break the law, then no one would have a problem. The reason they’re being taken out is because cause they broke the law by not entering legally. We can’t just walk into another country and decide we live there now. I don’t get why here people want it to be ok. Don’t you want them to have to pay taxes as well so you don’t have to pay for all their benefits?
