Not really. We’ve already paved all the roads we already need. This will be to pave roads for low traffic areas that nobody will drive on. There’s alternative routes that have already been paved.

My parents have a ranch in the country and we visit it during the summers. It’s all private roads, so no government maintenance. Us and our neighbors don’t have a problem. Most people in the countryside including us have trucks, and off-road/other vehicles meant to traverse rough terrains.

I’m very glad your parents specifically have good roads. That doesn’t represent the climate of the entire country
