Yeah, and that’s kind of the sad thing. All these people hating so hard when they clearly didn’t watch much of his content. He’d most certainly laugh about getting a slightly worse drink, and probably make a joke that being in the LGBTQ+ seems to instantly make you a 3x better barista or something. You can see it in moments like how he laughed at being satirized by South Park, or when the guy asked him who the best basketball player was.

It was just something he got asked at one campus, a girl asked him what his Starbucks order was and he said he drinks multiple of the tea a day so he doesn’t lose his voice. People are just enjoying something symbolic of something greater without being so rigid. And a company is making bank on it. It’s a win win. Soften up :)

So if it was just a one-off someone asked him on a college campus, why the fuck would Starbucks need to immortalize it on the menu. Especially for an extremely basic order like peppermint tea with honey.

Bc why not? It’s just something symbolic that people are enjoying right now. Symbolic of keeping his voice since he drank the tea to not lose it. Best thing to do is don’t order it. I’m sure it’s temporary. If one day you want the tea but don’t want to acknowledge its new name, just order the mint tea , you’ll be ok.

The reality is You’re just mad cause Starbucks is supporting CK and now you’re gonna have to boycott and find somewhere else for your $6 coffee. I bet they’re making bank and they already recovered the cost of making new signs. They’re a huge company I’m sure they figured it would be an investment they would recover 10x over. Probably charging more for it when tea is their cheapest drink
