Anti Zionism is used a lot to justify antisemitic actions or opinions. Believing that the one Jewish state existing on the ancestral homeland of the Jewish people, one of the only countries in the Middle East where there is freedom of religion, doesn’t have the right to exist is kind of ridiculous. Zionism isn’t supporting the government of Israel. It’s not supporting how they have prosecuted their war in Gaza. It’s the fundamental belief in the right of the Jewish people to self determination.

And I just want to add that Zionism is not believing that the people of Gaza or in the West Bank do not deserve freedom and the right to self determination. Many zionists believe they deserve their own countries, freedom, and rights. Some people just think that a government which pays salaries to the families of individuals killed based off of how many Israelis they killed should not be the government that creates that state.

So the Jewish people need a heavily-lobbied militaristic ethnostate in order for self determination? Should we give that to the followers of the Baha’i faith, given how Iran persecutes them too? Jews got an Israel on their ancestral homeland after 6 million were slaughtered during the holocaust. When it became apparent that the world would not defend the millions of Jews still alive. 20% of Israel is Arab, so ethnostate is technically not what it is. And the absurdity of singling out the Jewish state when it is surrounded by actual ethnostates is kind of ridiculous.

Theocracies are not ethnostates. And what you just said proves that Israel is an ethnostate. By and large, it was EUROPEAN Jews which were Holocaust victims. Israel is thus get this: a state created for people of European Jewish ethnicity. And again, if going through a genocide entitles you to an ethnostate, then every other victim of that (such as native Americans) needs one - including the Amalekites, Amorites, Hittites, Hivites, Jebusites, Midianites, and Perizzites, dipshit.
