Objective morality is a Christian idea. Without objective truth, everything becomes a struggle for subjective goods. Eventually, people come to the conclusion that if an individual or group stands in the way of me and my group’s subjective good, we can use whatever means necessary to remove the threat. This is the default practice of humanity.
