And without allies, we’re fucked. Nobody and no country can survive without allies. And believe it or not, dictatorships are not real allies, they’ll turn us in a heartbeat, and we don’t have the money or resources to just imperially dominate the entire world

So unless the next president comes in and fundamentally amends our entire election system to assure to other countries that another demagogue isn’t going to show up and buy their way to the top again, we’re just fucked. And if that DOES happen, then the Republican Party will have to change its platform so drastically to stay relevant that it will effectively cease to be (at least as we know it today)
