it’s also a poetic example of why we need TRAINING PRIOR TO HANDLING A FIREARM. that needs to be implemented and addressed via reform too. we can bring back well-regulated militias to protect from secret police - bc without regulation, it seems that they have *turned into* the secret police in some states.

I just mean pro-2nd amendment but give people classes on proper safety, defense tactics, First Aid/CPR, tourniquet usage, licensing exams for CPL like a CDL, give jobs to vets & retired cops for firing ranges and educators, etc. then from there, states can create militias as minutemen branches of the National Guard, yanno? sorta like a volunteer fire department.
