The Republican Party is the party of Trump. Period. Their actions speak louder than their words. They could have voted to impeach him in the senate and none of this would be happening now. They will always choose party over country. Their actions always do.

i mean good for you for being able to make your own decision like that and not letting someone influence you into it, but i’m a right-leaning conservative and you do NOT have to vote for him or like him to be right wing. that’s not really how that works. yes the majority of the party voted for him, but that doesn’t make us a unity party solely for DT

The weird thing is that Trump commanded the republicans more in 2021-2025 more than Biden commanded the democrats. Thats not really a commentary on Trump, more so on how weak of a president Biden was. Same with Kamala, after losing she dropped off the face of the earth for a few months. Trump was still commanding the republicans after he lost.

Republicans have never actually been for limited government… they want a big government to bomb other countries and police the lives of citizens, and a small government when it comes to helping poor people and taxing their rich friends. Make no mistake, the only thing that is different between Reagan and Bushes vs Trump is that Trump doesn’t pretend to be decent or have morals.
