I’d argue one of the privileges of having real power and real respect is the ability to be loud and petty without facing real consequences for it. The quiet ones are usually the ones who aren’t powerful enough to speak. Definitely makes for a cool drama adding aspect of a TV show but the real world is as simple as it is complicated, being loud and communicating your thoughts works if you can back it up with force.

That’s not a privilege of power, that’s an abuse of power. Powerful people have responsibilities and obligations to the people they serve, at least in a Democratic Republic
