 Might be a hot take, but Sigmund Freud was the Donald Trump of psychology. Extremely loud, spewed made up bullshit, people dedicated their whole careers to getting his theories debunked yet is still a prominent figure in the field somehow

Didn’t he have like two/three good ideas and the rest is just shit. Like I though Psychoanalysis and a few of his theories were okay imo but I’m also no psychologist

Shoutout Viktor Frankl, who disagreed with Freud heavily and survived the holocaust. Made a whole book on finding meaning in everything in life and 10/10 recommended
