He’s real enough that Jesus being a compassionate role model, you’re likely still breathing without a broken jaw for insulting such a thing. Were America Muslim you might be hanging from a bridge for taking such a brave stance (that’s sarcasm, I’m using the word “brave” sarcastically right now).

No that’s the point. There’s not physical evidence of Julius or Augustus ever living, it’s all literary and it’s something like 15 works recovered from that time period account for their lives. They say there’s a shroud that proves Jesus existed but I’m skeptical. But similar centuries literary recoveries cite the existence of Jesus… hundreds of times? It might be over 1000 depending on who’s counting what as “literary evidence”
