Single-handedly is a stretch. They had a decent bit of debt going into COVID. Then they took out more loans (and couldn’t pay as much of their existing loans) to survive the pandemic. Then they got hit with the engine issues. The high fuel costs definitely accelerated their demise though, but they were already in a bad spot. They declared bankruptcy twice before this war started
