As I mixed person who grew up in a white community with wealth I don’t think this is fair assessment. I think having preferences even based in biased experiences are not morally wrong to have but like most the things you described are just things poor people might do

oh my god i’m #3 on the original post that did all the history on Grenada and i’m so fucking bamboozled lmfao. what is she on!!! she must be taking that gabapentin at her vet school bc wtf. also i hear that med schools in the caribbean are notoriously easier to get into bc they’re like for the last picks on the residency draft or whatever it is. dated a doctor that explained his experience with that, willingly, on the first date lmao.

Like I actually give a fuck with your attempts to make me look bad. Calling out sexual assault and violence against students in the Caribbean isn’t a victim card.

By respect, I am referring to respectful behavior. The behavior of black Americans (and non American) behavior is horrid. Excusing disorder or degrading conduct as ‘culture’ lowers standards and hurts everyone. Equality means equal expectations, not special exemption because they’re black.

No other race acts like that, no other people act like that without it being condemned. But it’s seen as their “culture”.

The issue isn’t truly race, it’s whether we’re willing to enforce shared standards of behavior in public spaces. Excusing disorder, violence, or sexualized behavior as ‘culture’ lowers expectations and hurts the very people it claims to protect. Equality means equal standards, not exemptions. But if you call it out saying respect and standards are needed, it’s racist.

ALL black people need to get their shit together? You’re saying that because SOME black people engage in behaviors that you don’t value, black people as a whole need to learn disrespect? Why don’t you say the same thing about white people? There are white people who commit and endorse incest and that’s seen as a southern hillbilly cultural phenomenon

If the issue isn’t race, why are you saying all black people need to learn disrespect? Weird you’d feel the need to qualify a single entire race rather than just specific groups of people adhering to certain areas.

Im saying as a whole it needs to be condemned. 99% of white people do condemn incest, a majority of the black community would not condemn the events I describe.

No they don’t lmao. Large portions of white communities still openly condone it. Why aren’t you saying this about any other race lmao? Just say it. Say white people need to learn respect, if it’s not a race issue.

It’s not. I just told you an actual fact. Large white communities still endorse or commit incest. If it’s not a race issue, then say that white people need to learn respect for degrading behavior masked as culture.

And no, I’m not going to say it as someone who was literally raped by a black dude and was just told by the grandma cops that’s “just how it is there” in their disgusting misogynistic society. So yes, they need to learn so damn respect.

But you can’t say the same about white people even though there’s plenty of white people who endorse and commit incest? You don’t think white people need to learn respect but black people do?

Incest is a crime in 48 states, so yes it is widely condemned in by all races including white. So your point is literally null.

So no, you can’t do it. Even though there are white people who commit incest and other white people who endorse it, it’s ONLY black people that need to learn respect. Seems like a race issue. Prove me wrong. Say it.

I just proved you wrong 🤣 it is a crime being it’s widely condemn. A crime is not respect. A crime is a crime

Sure let’s change it up then. In federal sentencing data for sexual abuse offenses (which include crimes like child sexual abuse), a majority of convicted offenders have been identified as White. For example, in recent U.S. Sentencing Commission statistics about sexual abuse offenders, about 55–56 % were White Since most of it’s done by white people, and clearly not condemned by the culture ENOUGH to prevent it from happening. say it

White culture clearly isn’t interested in preventing pedophilia, I’d say any normal person can agree it’s not only respectful but also vital to have a culture that does. So why don’t you say it? Prove it’s not a race thing. Seriously lmao

You said black PEOPLE need to learn respect and talked about how SOME do this, now when I bring up how some white people do bad things, you wanna say “well it’s just those sub classes of white poeple” So which is it? The whole race or some people in that race?

No, I’m saying their “black hoodlum trash culture” since it’s widely accepted among the black community (you cannot specifically say which, like if you were to separate Punjabi and Southern Indian, or Grenadian vs Jamaican blacks because it’s all). Which is why black was used as a whole

You went through something truly awful, and I’m sorry you have to live with that. But regardless of the race of the person committing that act, you can’t generalize an entire race or culture based on the actions of a few. In the same way you can’t generalize that all white people are the same as MAGA dumbfucks, or pedos like Epstein. Like that doesn’t even make sense

I appreciate your understanding, but when you have their police officers (this was at my school in the Caribbean where the local population is black) laugh at you and just tell you it’s how it is, you can’t even go to the grocery store at 8am without a local dude sitting outside telling you what he wants you to do to his “sea cucumber”. EVERY WHERE you go. Pepper spray and any sort of self defense is illegal there. I do not feel comfortable around black men, and they’re painting that as racism.

And frankly, at this point the can say I’m racist all they want, but this was a local black MD student (so one would think doctors would be safe) and that makes it more terrifying for his future patients. And since then 2.5 years of sexual harassment from black men. So I don’t even care anymore what they think.

That’s truly fucked up. It really is. That’s not how things should be, not at all. Especially the police, that’s insane. And I absolutely understand your discomfort, and how it stems from your own experiences. Even more so given self defense is illegal, as you said. None of that is racism. My point mainly being it is their culture there [local culture being black specifically] is what I was referring to but now is just getting dragged out and misconstrued. No where did I say black Americans. There even buying weed with a guy friend, I tried to ask if we were leaving soon and the dealer told my friend “you better shut your bitch up before I do”. It’s disgusting, misogynistic, wife beating, sexual assault, harassment and rape is normalized.

I get it, I do. And it’s important that you speak up about this cause like I said, it’s wrong and needs change. I’m just trying to help you understand how the way you phrased things led people to misunderstand what you were saying. It’s very important for you to get your point across and explain the situation, but if you use language like you did above, many people are just gonna right it off as racism and ignore it.
