I’m okay with political discourse but a man voting for Trump is a pretty hard line. I think it’s important to have interesting discussions and honest conversations about on our standings, but many men who voted for Trump are not interesting or honest, unfortunately. I think who you voted for can be telling, although I practice the belief of being inquisitive before I judge

if there were 10 options and they voted for trump I would agree completely, but when an election has only two valid options, who someone decides to vote for is a lot more nuanced I voted for kamala personally, but I completely understand why, given the options and all of the surrounding context, people like me would decide to vote for trump

More Trump supporters vote in opposition to other candidates than in full-faith of Trump (pew), actually. I think it’s a poor evaluation of competency and character that should be a broader analysis. Yes, it should be more nuanced, yet we’ve seen (and are seeing) increases in voting for opposition rather than favor. I think that “voting out of spite” is exactly the type of behavior I’d like to avoid. It’s not that I don’t understand why, but I heavily question the incentive and reasoning
