Too wooden. I liked McMorrow…but…this is where we’re at. Though, to be an unfettered doomer, I’ve all but given up on politics completely. I think we’re all fucked and there’s no one capable of taking the wheel. There is no fundamental clear way of discerning what “truth” means to anyone. We all get to believe what we want and really see no downsides that would be any different than believing in some other worldview. I get why billionaires are building bunkers and compounds now 🤷‍♂️

Yeah 🤷‍♂️ that’s where you and I differ. Not going to tell people NOT to do what they believe in, but I don’t see a future where we get to that. The conversations around COVID have destroyed whatever soup was left in their brains. After Trump, it gets potentially worse.

I mean people should do what they think is right. I have no delusion that I’ll be able to set people right. I can’t even convince people in my personal life not to believe in crazy shit let alone people online. I think my biggest hope is normal people’s wallets aren’t getting better so I still think there’ll be a big political backlash against the current admin. It’s not really generational tbh. It’s everyone. Boomers believing in the same nonsense that younger people do. It’s a human thing. We as a species aren’t equipped to handle the level of information that we now are able to get ahold of on our own.
