I wonder if Trump will either kill this because the SAVE act hasn’t been passed or house republicans will add the SAVE act to this, forcing Dems to kill

House passed a similar version 390-9, but they need to reconcile the differences. The senate version has a provision that institutional investors must sell build-to-rent houses after 7 years

https://www.lw.com/en/insights/senate-advances-21st-century-road-to-housing-act There’s apparently 84% similarity - Senate bill says build to rent needs to be sold within 7 years - Senate banned institutional investors (who own 350+ single-family houses) from buying more - House has something related to community bank deregulation - Senate has a temporary ban on CBDCs but House has a permanent one
