I have an outsized amount of trust in the validity of this story. Shrooms do have a transformative effect on people’s psyche. My second time I did them, I had ego death so hard I forgot my own name. And the long term effect was in that moment asking myself “Who Am I?” I did some deep soul-searching after in one of the toughest years of my life to follow.
