Back in the day I would’ve said it’s because of Christian Zionism, and the fact that Evangelicals believe that Israel has to control the Holy Land for the rapture to occur. However, in 2026, I think it might just be because Trump told them they have to like Israel.

because they fund so much money into their campaigns (AIPAC), so they’re paid to love them and promote their interests

His church tells him to. His church tells him that in order for Jesus to return and take him to the promised land, the Jews must control Israel. That’s in Revelation. Most Protestants crave for the end times, and their Church tells them Israel is a stepping stone along that path.

Isn’t it sacrilegious though? Christians wanting a Jewish ethnostate in charge of the Holy Land sounds wrong (not on some antisemitic shit but more the fact that Jews don’t believe Jesus is the Messiah). The Catholics straight up went to war several times over centuries to take it for themselves
