There’s a lot of criticisms to be made of data centers and ai, idk I haven’t looked into the noise stuff but the water issues not actually an issue with datacenters shits all recycled and if there’s water waste it’s just going to the filtration facility of the city

I’ve seen articles I just think it’s more of a correlation with other factors, unless you’re talking about runoff during construction, the water used in data centers are in closed loops and it’s used for cooling, shits not getting full of pollutants from that

I’m not saying datacenters aren’t causing environmental impacts but the water used issue just wasn’t isn’t one of them. But I’m also not a full on anti ai person don’t like the companies but I do like the tech
