
Job training/education isn’t what you’re thinking. It’s usually mandatory before starting a job. When I worked at Chick Fil A as a teen, I had to watch 80 short videos, take quizzes after each, and take unit tests. It was proper food safety, machine operation, and procedure. I was comped 8 hours of state (my state has federal) minimum wage. There’s no reason not to get paid for learning how to do a job. It’s not particularly useful info outside your work sphere.
