“Venezuela has the proximity to strike the US” They rank 50th on the global firepower index and would get absolutely dogwalked by the US. This is not a conflict that would benefit either country but it’d go a hell of a lot worse for Venezuela

I think no one is talking enough about the issue of physical geography. We may control the oceans and air. But a land invasion through jungles would be a catastrophe.
