Honestly best thing to do is ask “do you believe that’s an inherent trait or a socialized one?” And then “so if you believe it’s inherent, how is your opinion any more valid than theirs? They also believe that someone’s worth is inherent to their sex and how they are born.” Or ask them to follow it to conclusions about how to “fix” the issue then (which ultimately leads to eugenics) and point out how fascists do the same things

I don’t think you do! Nobody who understands the differences between these words would use it incorrectly because of a word limit, once you know the differences it’ll bother you to use the wrong one.

Could be but I doubt it, if you know the difference there’s really no reason you’d use the wrong one. Misspelling something is a typo that you would do by accident, not using the wrong one
