Also it’s weird to take a wedding photo with guns, whether you’re on the left or the right, idk who these two are but only responded because the wording of your post was inaccurate and targeted me as well

It was self defense not political violence, as you can see he’s a free man happy and thriving

Really, I remember a recent political assassination that much of the left openly applauded

You got triggered by people making jokes? Typical behavior from the right wing pedo party

You being offended by the truth doesn’t change it. Doesn’t surprise me you forgot about the guy who murdered a dem lawmaker that the right worshipped and supported

Yeah man there’s a time and place. If you don’t understand that count yourself among those “who worship anyone who wants to successfully kills other humans”

A time and place that sensitive morons on twitter get to arbitrarily decide? Why should normal people care about when the right doesn’t want people to make jokes? You guys can’t handle anything jesus lmao

Anyone who says they do not believe in empathy loses the right to empathy. Literally shut up.

“political violence” is a descriptive term for multiple behaviors. Shocker that the kid fucker party doesn’t understand words bigger than 3 letters

I’m sorry didn’t you just bring up the killer of a dem senator that the “right worshipped and supported.” Sounds like you only call it “jokes” when it comes from your side but become a sensitive moron on twitter who gets to arbitrarily decide when it comes from the other.

Yeah I did bring it up, because they did legitimately support the guy who murdered a dem senator lol. Which 100% is different than making jokes which offend you. So I ask again, what is the time and place to joke? Who gets to decide?

Well I brought up Kirk because the left “did legitimately support the guy who murdered a political speaker lol. Which 100% is different than making jokes which offend you.” So to answer your question the time and place is certainly not the day of, and you obviously lack the moral ability to make the decision

No they made jokes. The right just isn’t used to the behavior that made Trump famous, being used by other groups. So people aren’t allowed to make jokes even if it’s just one person that’s offended? Why should normal people care when others don’t wanna hear jokes?

Non-sequitur. You still sound like a 2016 Facebook republican, and that is embarrassing.

Buddy you are obviously not a normal person, you’re out here like the op on the original post trying to incite a political argument because it’s entertaining to you for some reason. So now they made jokes and didn’t support and worship the death of the dem senator, you obviously flip the basis of your argument when it doesn’t help you. People are allowed to make jokes, but the ones in question in both instances were inappropriate and more than jokes.

Idk man, I for one didn’t shed a tear. I don’t think we need to pretend we mourn for Kirk. They did make a legitimate point, even if I think it’s a false equivalency.

No, the right did. The right massively endorsed violence time and time again. Even when he was initially shot they tried to call for actual violence before they knew the shooter. Afterwards they threatened a black college to the point where they shut it down. This is me being logical and you trying to arbitrarily decide comedy isn’t allowed

Normal people shouldn’t mourn kirk. He was a racist podcaster and now he’s dead.

Right but you’re digging like 3 different holes for yourself in this argument. Either they’re jokes or they’re not- they’re moral or they aren’t. You can’t have both. You’re contradicting yourself within the same post.

I’ve been consistent, the right endorsed the murderer seriously. And do every time almost any political event happens. The left made jokes.

It stopped being self defense the moment he decided to cross state lines. He is a murderer.

First, I disagree and do not support calls to violence from any on right as well as people who joke about the death of the dem senator, just as you should for those on the left who joke about Kirk. The problem is you’re blanket labeling the right for the actions of a minority to incite political tensions and basing that argument on double standards. Second, I’m not arbitrarily deciding anything it should be common knowledge when something is appropriate or inappropriate.

And so you’re saying normal people shouldn’t mourn Kirk now. This is exactly what I’m talking about, normal people don’t talk like this about the political opposition, only radicals

I do think Kirk is an exception in that he is literally quoted as not believing in empathy. It’s very reasonable for a “normal person” to see someone who denounced empathy die, and shrug.

Anonymous replying to -> #1 2w

No Im not. Thats the issue. The right has perpetuated and shown that they’re complicit and want violence more than the left. “common knowledge” except everyone has a different view of what that term means. How long until you’re allowed to make jokes about a racist who got shot? Time wise.

You said, “your brain convinced you to think I cared about your opinions enough to take them to heart.” I don’t worry for me, I worry for the reality you live in where you’re so special you believe your opinions are infallible. You obviously are chronically online and live off of your political identity. I wouldn’t expect you to behave in any other way to how you are acting right now. You only see things one way and always will. I take comfort that the majority of the left is unlike you.

“political division is a matter of nurture” “your brain is clearly not wired for critical thinking” The idea that you can pretend you wouldn’t be a red hat when you’re comfortable making the same half attempts at inflammatory remarks like that when someone offends you is the irony you needed me to explain. Anything else?
