Ok so you don’t think we should require an ID to vote? What happens when the right abuses this to get their people in power? Would you be in favor of it then?

most states require people to use their signature (and proof of address) to be able to register to vote and verify based on their signature. what OP is referring to is some recent proposed legislation that would require photo ID to vote. it would mainly exclude people without drivers licenses (which are usually low-income individuals in cities)
