I hate SUVs, most of them are just used for normal ass suburban driving. Looks like a fat bloated car with shittier gas mileage

I think the main reason is mostly just capitalism Yes, I think CAFE has helped with that, but tbh I figure the main reason is that bigger heavier fancier car = more profit. Source: I mean biggening does predate CAFE standards but mostly I made it up
