I’m not buying the “support the mom, not the pregnancy” narrative. Teen pregnancy gets glorified, kids see it, and repeat it. I was raised by a teen mom, I know the damage firsthand. I’m not supporting or celebrating it. Period.

for my entire life i’ve been told by adults that my life would be Over if i got pregnant as a teen and all my peers made it VERY clear I’d be the local slut if I did. So like. WHERE

It wasn’t until 2 and a half months ago that my state banned child marriage. A lot of states still haven’t banned it.
