I’ve heard of a recession in the works for 10 years. I’ve heard of a civil war for 10 years. I’ve heard of Elder Scrolls VI for *close* to 10 years. When might these terrible things come to pass?

This might run a little against the grain of my post. But I believe you in there’s more evidence these days pointing to nationwide recession.

The concept sounds great. But, And I cannot be emphatic enough about this, Bethesda has squandered a lot of good will by releasing games broken on launch and stifling criticism of the game so players cannot know the game is broken before buying it.

Yeah, seems like that’s what a lot of triple A studios have done recently. I mean, drops are always going to have at least like a couple bugs but they shouldn’t be so bad the game is unplayable.

I have many gripes about EA being a greedy company. But at least it seems they had some sense of urgency in fixing the bugs with Battlefield 6. And that wasn’t wholly broken on release. Bethesda standard means game-breaking glitches for the core gameplay and story.

Exactly, which a lot of people defend battlefield by saying that bugs are part of the launch. Like, it’s almost a feature of battlefield to have a buggy opening. Which in a multiplayer focused game, I can see why it’s not a big deal. But like a single player game shouldn’t be broken on launch, imagine if rdr2 was broke on launch, people would have rioted lol.
