The BLS is just straight up not releasing statistics because daddy Trump said not to (because it would show how bad the economy actually is)

The government shutdown did a lot of that. A lot of those offices are not essential. So even if they weren’t furloughed, they are still dealing with a bunch of unknowns. Give the actual government workers some slack here. (Don’t give the government itself slack tho)

It’s a purposeful push by the administration to delay or entirely cancel the BLS numbers from coming out because it would harm the “everything is cheaper” narrative that Trump is pushing despite the very clear evidence that he’s just lying
