Did yk horses and other equids lack the muscles to vomit? That’s why they’re so prone to colic. Also, equids can’t breathe out of their mouth only their nose. Because of this, when horses eat something very large(like a whole apple) it can get stuck in the throat and the animal can still breathe but dies because it can’t eat or drink.

Aww thank you! I’m gonna get back to posting random animal facts again at some point. Idk when tho. I’m thinking about doing Mules when I start back just cause
