I do think it was funny that the uk was like โ€œweโ€™re gonna recognize a Palestinian state or elseโ€ like baby wym? If itโ€™s the right thing to do then why is it a conditional?

It almost kinda reminds me of the US invasion on Iraq, countries like Spain and the UK sent troops into Iraq even after Colin Powellโ€™s claims that they had WMDs were proven to be false. The large majority of the people in Spain and UK disapproved of that action, and Spainโ€™s PM even did it without parliamentary approval. It became about oil, power, and control. Americans bought it.

Obviously incredibly different scenarios but the ways that weโ€™ve seen leaders approach their nations and the UN are similar to me. Iโ€™m disappointed every day at how little action we see leaders taking despite the loud, outspoken objections from the people.
