I mean, they’re conservatives at their core. By definition, that means they are status-quo addicted. Completely lacking in imagination of a better world or future. They see that the status quo is absolutely FUCKED, and instead of saying “we have to burn it all down and make a better status quo” they say “suck it up, cry about it lib”

And part of me has always thought that there was some line in the sand. Some state of affairs where even those intellectual cowards who can’t imagine something better would finally be able to admit how bad things are. I thought “The President raped little girls” would be across that line, but apparently there just is no fucking line for these bastards.
