it’s funny that even though extremists on both sides are using increasingly violent partisan rhetoric, the people most willing to actually engage in political violence often don’t have any clear or coherent ideological alignment

well... the "far left" largely damages property and the far right consistently k1lls people in schools, places of worship, grocery stores, health clinics, and public gathering places. oh and they sometimes attack power grids in an attempt to k1ll vulnerable groups and (fail to) incite race wars
