Do Democrats still think this is some sort of gotcha question? Of course we want to keep the second amendment. If there was an actual surrender of firearms what would happen is all the good natured people would follow the law while criminals who hide their weapons illegally would get more power.

It’s not about him it’s about what comes after and how this affects the psyche of children and how this is ritualizing violence so that when the government asks you to commit atrocities in its name to your fellow American in its name, you will do it blindly and gleefully
