We had a high of 90 on Sunday, tornadoes Sunday night, snow Monday morning, then lows of 24 on Monday night. Tell me climate change isn’t real I dare you

anyway hi I have a degree in environmental science, specifically conservation ecology. I have successfully converted the most stubborn climate change deniers into people who ask what they can do in their local communities to be more green.

The way I’ve never been diving without seeing at least one bleached coral is fucking maddening

Weather changes naturally, yes. However, humans are sensitive enough to weather to be able to track some amount of discomfort rising year by year, indicative of climate change.

A little discomfort is not good for crops, seasonal animals, or plants. You might be a super tough person who can withstand it, but there are already species who are dying right now and are on track to get worse. You can be uncomfortable. A polar bear, a migratory bird, an arctic fox or a dugong? They’re starving to death. They’re not just a little warm.

I’m not against environmentalism. What op is describing is literally just weather changing

Weather is short term, climate is long term. Im discussing the climate of the earth

Yeah, long-term weather change. We could even say it affects the climate. A form of “climate change” perhaps.

Also, what I’m discussing, is the climate changing faster than it has in recorded history. The earth cycles, yes. This has been proven to be more dramatic and extreme and caused by anthropogenic pollution.
