yall have no idea what reality is. Poverty is stressful. Being on SNAP is stressful, working a dead end job and still not being able to provide is stressful. Being called lazy & a Deadbeat for needing government assistance is stressful. Yall are evil

The reason ppl need it is bc companies don't pay employees a liveable wage and lobby congress to not change that. the billionares love ppl like you

I support SNAP for people who actually need it. To say that there aren’t people out there leeching off the system is kinda just being in denial. Of the 42M people receiving it, you can’t say they all need it. Especially when you see people gloating online about how they don’t have to work to get these benefits. It’s just a bad look imo.

dude even if there’s some people abusing it, it still helps the people who need it. And I’d much rather have tax money going to those people than funding genocides

I’m not disagreeing with what you’re saying but I can still agree that getting people off of SNAP that just don’t need it isn’t a bad concept. I just want my tax money to go towards people who really need it and not people who wanna gloat or brag about taking that money when they don’t need it, yk?

Who cares even if that’s the case? You’re acting like it’s 50/50 but it’s probably less than 1% of recipients. You’d probably say the same about EITC, but who can thrive on a yearly income under $24,000?

Meant for #2. I hate that stat. Ppl think it means ppl aren't working 😂. 4.5% of the country is unemployed and yet more are on SNAP. People don't ever think it's big corps fault and instead blame their neighbor for being lazy

I’m not saying I disagree with anything yall are saying. Yes, wages need to be higher (with my career you definitely don’t need to lecture me about that). I’m saying both can be true. If you can’t get that thru your heads and wanna just downvote out of spite or misunderstanding, go for it. It’s not less than 1% of people who don’t need these benefits. It’s crazy how ppl get hypocritical when someone voices that they care about where their tax money goes.

I’m fine if you have concern about where ur tax money goes bro, it’s more that that should be the LEAST of ur concern of where ur tax money is going if trumps hosting fucking parties or fbi director using private jets to fly his gf, or funding wars and genocides like that you should be more vocal about those first and get those resolved before making SNAP abusers ur concern

Reagan’s capitalism has rotted ur empathy… welfare queens don’t exist. minimum wage is not a living wage, and everyone else are children & disabled & elderly.

Again, I’m saying all of these things can be true and of concern.

Again, even though it may not be an overwhelming amount of people, saying that there aren’t people abusing the system is pretty blatantly a lie.
