Anyone who defends ice: just know you’re defending a bunch of power-hungry losers who couldn’t hack it in law enforcement/the military As an asthmatic with heart problems, their fitness standards are so lax that even I met them when I tested myself 😬

Then you overestimate the fitness capacity of the average ice agent. The standard is 15 push ups in 1 minute, 32 sit ups in one minute (that is the bare minimum, some standards are higher), and a 1.5 mile run in 14 minutes. Push ups are the only part that’s not like drop dead easy. Other than that, it’s just easier crunches and ~1.5x a 10-minute mile. I finished both of the latter requirements with time to spare.

15 push ups to you isn’t drop dead easy?

I can do it without too many issues, but both the running and sit ups are easier. I should have specified that the standard on paper is 22 (which I did), but the often followed standard is 15 at some centers.
