Why is trans healthcare even politicized. Shouldn’t that be between the patient and their doctor?

To be fair there are other healthcare’s that are heavily politicized like euthanasia, abortion, (and now vaccines I guess ) But yes largely I agree it should probably be primarily between a person and their doctor
