Listening to IRA songs, Rhodie songs, and American revolutionary music is interesting cause the hate for the British really is universal

I’ve always disliked the Brit’s, nobody realizes they are Americas oldest enemy, oh and what else? They are 70% of the worlds oldest enemy, they thought taking land from whoever just gonna slide under the rug once their streets filled up with crooked teeth people

It’s very interesting how anti-British attitudes can be in completely different ways. For Ireland, or similarly India, Kenya, etc the hatred for Britain comes from a colonized people. Meanwhile for the American Revolution or Rhodesia, its colonizers being upset that the colonial metropole is attempting to limit them.

Irish Republicans hate the English for extremely different reasons than the other two.

Then they rip off our ideas and call us idiots that we would make such a thing, and the British really fucking provoked Japan to do Pearl Harbor, and in that South Park episode the British were gonna tell the alien that the Americans took all the space cash and that fucking pissed me off so much

This is why I think it’s weird that people try to portray the American Revolution as being anti-colonial in the same way as the Irish. It wasn’t. It was the settlers themselves seceding and continuing to colonize, much like Rhodesia.

In a lot of ways its different, like the ones you listed. In a lot of ways it's the same however, like how the vast majority of these make the British seem like a bunch of flamboyant homosexuals.

Makes sense for how a farming culture would view aristocrats
