That’s kinda a crazy take. We can agree that universal healthcare and basic needs being met are the goal and also recognize that can’t be done overnight. Maybe this person is a conformist with activist rhetoric but kinda a wild pull from this. Rather a moderate than a centrist and such idk.

No, it really isn’t. Have you ever read the critiques offered by Malcom x, or by Martin Luther King Jr., regarding the dangers of the white moderate/white liberal in comparison to dangers of the openly-hateful white supremacist?

Yes I am and I don’t think it’s fascist sympathy to understand the greater implication of economic change. Not that it doesn’t need to happen or in my own opinion shouldn’t be radical. You can’t just say free healthcare and not have a plan to prop up your doctors and nurses. It’s not sympathy to the administration it’s sympathy to the fact we need a plan to start.

The greater implication of economic change? You’re so caught up in fearmongering utter bullshit, that you can’t even keep your own ideals in line. Don’t care to give a flying fuck about economic changes while the acceleration to fascism is preparing the US economy for a planned depression. You don’t give a fuck about free shit unless it’s poor people benefitting, that’s why you haven’t brought up shit about the subsidies and bailouts given to billionaires.

Imo, yeah. You’re a sympathizer. Your comfort and perception of the world is more important than justice and the material conditions that other people are living through; and you have no problem expressing that. Go read the critiques I referenced earlier, and you’ll see why the phrase “scratch a liberal and a fascist bleeds” exists.

I’m not the OP ya know. Im hung up on free healthcare. Not because it’s up for debate but because if there is any issue that is tangled into insurance law is healthcare. It needs to be abolished. It needs to be readily available. That relies on people being empathetic and willing to be active community members. I’m living in reality. You just assume that in questioning the initiative that I want to see powerful administrations and bureaucracy continue to ravage the system.

We are in a place where radical change can happen and should happen. Don’t chastise someone for beliefs YOU DONT KNOW ABOUT! If we had more to take from sure say what you want they didn’t even give any examples. Your inflammatory language makes actual discussions impossible. It’s why no one likes democrats. I’m not a republican I’m a socialist ffs. But you know the community needs to not collapse in the transition

I mean, YOU redirected the conversation there based on OP rightfully calling OOP a sympathizer, don’t get upset that I’m calling you out on it. If you want to talk about free healthcare, or any of the issues that stem from the insatiable pursuit of profit, then let’s reconsider our top marginal tax rates and top income limits, like we implemented to help bring us out of the depression (and allowed us to create programs like social security). That’s why I brought up billionaires.

The issue isn’t healthcare, or “not having a plan”, it’s the unwillingness of billionaires to contribute to society. We have a plan, we just can’t implement it because too many stupid mother fuckers cry about “SOCIALISM” the second we mention taxing billionaires accordingly.

I don’t know what about my rhetoric or critique of society led you to think that me, a communist, ascribes to the neoliberal capitalist institution that is the DNC.
